Happy Brazilian Day #Toronto

Get the music flowing and the people dancing as the 4th annual Brazilian Day Canada takes place at Yonge-Dundas Square and on Yonge Street on Monday September 3, 2012. The city will be filled with green and yellow as the World's Longest Street is closed to vehicles from Dundas to Shuter Street (right beside the Eaton Centre) for the Festival and Street Fair event running 1:30-8pm.
The party will be hosted by Serginho Groismann and will feature the duo of Jorge & Mateus, Thiago Correa and local musicians.
"This festival celebrates Canada’s multiculturalism through one of the most vibrant cultures in the world. Through traditional music, dance and food, Brazilian Day Canada gives everyone, no matter what their cultural background a chance to be Brazilian for a day."

The week will also end with the Brazilian Flag raising on Friday September 7 from 12-1pm at Toronto City Hall. See photos of the flag raising here.
