Music was on the mountain during the
Festival of Friends in Hamilton, Ontario. The event takes place August 10-12, 2012 at the Ancaster Fair Grounds and features entertainment, food vendors and the excitement of the midway. Fresh Joe called and said lets go,
The Bangles were playing on Friday.
We made it in time to see roadies get the instruments ready then the famous All-American, female rock band The Bangles took the stage to sing some of their hits and some of their new stuff. They play pretty good live so it was a fun show.
Late in the evening the crowd was around the stage listening to Susanna Hoffs, Vicki Peterson and Debbi Peterson sing hits like Manic Monday and Walk Like an Egyptian, while the midway was quiet and eerily empty. If the weather holds the free festival will be booming tomorrow.

The singing group The B-52s will close the festival on Sunday night.
