Danica Patrick in Montreal
Danica in the #7 car
Jacques Villeneuve in the #22 car
Danica Patrick in the #7 GoDaddy.com car ended up in 27th spot in the US series after a rough day of mechanical problems and having run over a shoe someone had thrown on the track. Canadians Jacques Villeneuve finished 3rd, Ron Fellows 5th and Alex Tagliani 27th.
NASCAR reports that Villeneuve, on the way to winning the race in the final lap said he blamed Allgaier for knocking him out of the way. When Allgaier crossed under the checkered flag, it was the only lap he had led all day.Villeneuve: "It was very frustrating because Dodge and Penske gave me a car that was unbeatable today, but I guess Justin Allgaier decided he had to win and so the only way he could do that was to take me out, which was really frustrating."
While Villeneuve himself hit Alex Tagliani, which brought out the thumbs down from the crowd.
