The banners hang from the Princes' Gates at Exhibition Place in #Toronto for #CNE2012. The banners don't specifically mention bacon but they do look like big strips of the tasty pork product. Today marks the start of the little fair by the lake known as the EX, which goes on till Labour Day or Monday September 3rd if you don't keep track of time by the holidays.
I just took a picture of the entrance and didn't go into the grounds today because I didn't want to be tempted by all the bacon today - especially the deep fried bacon wrapped bacon. I will drop by soon to check out the fun which includes the food, the lights and exciting rides and the daily New Orleans style parade. Although today would have been a good day to go in because they had a first day general admission ticket special: $8 instead of the regular adult admission of $16, which if I calculate correctly is half off!
Another highlight of the CNE is the annual weekend Canadian International Airshow which closes out the fair and gets the chillun back to school.
