Art Toronto 2012

#Toronto celebrates the arts with the international art fair held from October 26 to 29, 2012 in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. On Thursday October 25 they had an opening night preview of Art Toronto where I had the opportunity to view the incredible breadth of art and also met many of the artists and plenty of friendly art patrons.
I think these guys are ready to buy!

BMW was one of the major sponsors of the event along with RBC Wealth Management and AXA ART Insurance. You can see more of my my photos of the unveiling of the Robert Rauschenberg BMW Art Car here.
The hall was filled with paintings, photographs and art installations
Ann-Louise Seago with AXA ART Insurance which was a presenting sponsor
A Thousand Desires by Ravikumar Kashi from Gallery Sumukha

The show was a great mix of paintings, photographs, art installations and sculptures.

"Art Toronto – formerly the Toronto International Art Fair – is the largest art fair in Canada and is known by members of the international arts community as a world class gathering on par with its predecessors in the United States and Europe. With exhibitors from five continents, Art Toronto is truly international and over the years it has become a “must-do” for top galleries from the world’s culture capitals. This year’s fair features a major presence by galleries from Japan, Israel, Korea, the United Kingdom, Spain, and India, among others."
