"We have the future under control" and that control includes a powerful half human, half robot cyborg played by Joel Kinnamon. OmniCorp was on College Street just west of University Avenue shooting their feature film remake about the Detroit Policeman named Alex Murphy, wounded and dying, who is brought back as the crime fighting RoboCop. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Columbia Pictures production is directed by Jose Padilha and also stars Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton and Samuel L Jackson. The movie will be released in late summer 2013.
The filming moved from Hamilton into the Big Smoke as a stand in for future Detroit. See more photos after the jump.
