"From Thursday to Saturday every week, The Antler Room plays host to an eclectic mix of local musical talent. This is no muffled basement rock music venue, though; The Antler Room boasts a raised stage and a brand new sound system. During the month of January, The Antler Room will see 12 Toronto-based bands take the stage, covering every genre from Classic and Alt rock, to Funk and Top 40, making it a worthy destination for after work tie-loosening or a weekend jaunt downtown. January performers include Mondo Bizzaro (January 18), Knee Deep (January 19), and The Audience (January 25/26). The complete January band schedule can be found here."
Love the Country Willie which is a Willie Nelson-themed cocktail. You can also pay $10 and join the 197 Stein Club and receive a personalized beer stein with part of the funds from each 32 oz beer mug donated to Willie's outstanding tax bill. You can fill the stein with local and imported beers and over 25 brews on tap. Other drinks include the Sioux City Sue and Newfoundland's famous Screech rum.
The menu items created by Chef Matt Rosen includes Tacos non Gringos, Peel and Eat Shrimp, classic Cheeseburgers and Mini Donuts (with salty caramel bacon and hickory dust). The joint is open Thursday to Saturday from 5 pm to 2 am. Provided photo at top shows some actual antlers that you can find at the Antler Room.
