The incredibly freaky
Salvador Dali Surrealist Film Festival plays at the #Toronto Cineforum on Bathurst until July 29, 2012, presented by Reg Hartt. Weird film clips gathered together for a festival of modernist and enthusiasm in way out art.
There are posters around the downtown core everywhere and I even found Dali on one the IZOD IndyCar Honda Indy Toronto driver helmets (Oriol Servia #22 of Panther / Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team - he didn't win, his tires were made to look like they were melting!).
One quote that struck me was “There are some days when I think I’m going to die from an overdose of satisfaction. ” - Salvador Dali. His portrait is being painted in Kensington Market - above.
I am going to get my mustache ready for a night of existentialism.
